Life as Never Seen Before

Bible study this Friday was awesome. The word of God came with power. The praise and worship session was off the hinges. We had praise report of how the word of God, when applied correctly worked in every aspect ranging from academically, socially to spiritually.
We found out we don't live deductively but inductively as Christians. The Holy spirit has been given to us to lead and guide us into all truth John 16:13. He is the difference maker. We are not helpless, no matter the situation, we are at an advantage because we have the holy spirit and eternal life. We should expect God's favor because it is our right and we know our rights in Christ. Before Jesus came it was already prophesied that the holy spirit will be given to us to live victoriously in this life. God said he will put in a new spirit and remove the heart of stone and replace it with the heart of flesh and make us to walk up right Ezk 36:26-28.
Eternal/Everlasting Life (zoe in the greek), is the reason Jesus came to die for you and I, it is the reason why you should not die prematurely, it is the reason why we will and should fulfill our calling in life, the reason why we have a purpose and meaning in life in the midst of all the challenges that we face today, the reason why we should not and cannot be sick or die of any disease. John 1:4 talks about the Life, eternal Life which Christ brought, is not just life forever in heaven as it has been popularly assumed . In reality, it is the quality/nature of the life. What life you may ask? The God-kind of life!
When do you get eternal life? The moment you get saved. 1 John 5:13. In other words, you have eternal Life(zoe) or the the God-kind of life in you right now, and it was given to you for victory over every circumstance of life. You are not going to have it after you die but the moment you get saved so in essence, you begin eternity on earth before getting to heaven.
Bottom line :
1. Prayer Changes, it is the key that unlocks all all the goodies that God has for us.
2. The word works when rightly applied.
3. We are not disadvantaged but heavily advantaged because of Zoe.
4. We are blessed.

and oh yeah....the rockets officially suck..Go Spurs!! God bless.

Hey howdy! am really impressed about wants goin on on this page. Please could someone answer this question 4 me?

I was talkin with my co-worker bout a boy that was caught stealing and she asked me for my opinion about what i would do to the boy if i was in the position to forgive him and stop him from going to jail or make him go to jail? And i said.......i would rather forgive him becos that is how God treats us. He forgives us! Absolutely! No strings attached! but she said thats wrong. She said God would forgive you, but you would still have to pay the consequences of ur sins which i think is a wrong thing to say....Wat do y'all think the bible say bout this. She even went as far as to say that goin to jail could be God's plan for the boi to change. HELL NOOOOOOOOoooooooo! Please feel free to write a comment about this. Thanx Have a great week. Bye. lol Deji, first off I don't think ur supposed to say Hell no....whatever happened to Heaven No?? (joke!)But on the real though, I honestly feel like ur co-worker is right in a sense. The bible says "spare the rod and spoil the child" so it wouldn't be fair to just "forgive him" and let him run loose...heck naw! he needs to be punished in some type of way, especially cos he's young. he needs something that will continually discourage him from the act if he ever gets tempted in the future. some relatively mild form of punishment will do (community service maybe)....I think putting him behind bars is too much. he'll probably come out a worse person, 'cos because of the "stigma" associated w/ex-cons, he might go through more tough times. It's possible to correct his wrongdoing while showing him the love of Christ
    (dang I talk too much!)
